If you are looking for an elixir of youth and want to look and feel your best for as long as you can, you may want to start practising the Five Tibetan Rites.
The Five Tibetan Rites are a series of 5 exercises, performed up 21 times, believed to have miraculous healing and age defying qualities. The Rites were discovered by the Tibetan monks, who, it is believed, have been practising them for over two thousand years (video below).
The West was first made aware of the ‘Five Tibetans’ when Peter Kelder published his book, ‘The Eye of Revelation’ in 1939. The book explained how powerful the Tibetans are for healing the mind, body and spirit.
British celebrity, Bruce Forsyth, is said to swear by the ‘Five Tibetan Rites’ for keeping him youthful and vibrant. Anyone who has seen him in action, will attest to the fact he has got the vigour of a man thirty years younger.
Also known as the Fountain of Youth by those who practice them, the Five Tibetan Rites are known to have many amazing health benefits for the practitioners such as:
- Looking younger
- Sleeping soundly
- Feeling more energized
- Finding back problems cured
- Loosing weight
- Greatly improved physical strength and flexibility
- Increased stamina
- Balanced emotions
- Balanced endocrine glands and hormones
- Depression and mood disorders lifted
- Happiness and zest for life returns
- Balanced chakras
It is claimed the exercises stimulate all the glands of the endocrine system. The endocrine glands are responsible for the body’s overall health and how it ages. It is now recognised that most health problems and weight issues develop because of imbalanced endocrine glands and thus hormones.
If you balance your endocrine glands you in turn balance the body’s seven chakras.
When you first perform the Five Tibetan Rites you will probably find them challenging to do. When starting out doing just 5 repetitions of each exercise is often enough.
If you have back, wrist or neck problems always do the modified versions and build up gradually. Always listen to your body.
There are many videos on YouTube of the Five Tibetan Rites but here is one to get you started
