Almonds are tiny nutrient powerhouses that should be eaten regularly to reap their amazing health benefits. Not only are they delicious but they are incredibly versatile and can be eaten raw as a healthy snack or used in all types of cooking: from replacing wheat flour in baking to adding extra protein to curry sauces.
1 medium-sized banana
1 tbsp ground almonds
1 cup, full-fat, natural yoghurt
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp double cream
Place all the above ingredients, except the double cream, into a blender and whizz up for a few seconds.
Add the cream and blend again for a few seconds, until smooth and creamy.
