Chocolate Sauce

Suitable for maintenance and levels 1,2,3 


1 cup of milk (coconut, almond or regular)

50 grams dark chocolate

Splash of double cream (optional)

(For chocolate orange flavour add the zest of 1 orange)


Pour milk into small pan, break up chocolate and add to milk (if using orange zest add now). Gently heat and stir until chocolate is melted and combined with milk. Add splash of double cream.

Serving suggestion: Use as a chocolate fondue and dip in favourite fruits such as strawberry or banana. Pour over banana bread and devour… delish. Or leave to set in fridge for a few hours and have as a thick chocolate mousse with whipped cream.

Serves 1 to 2 as a mousse or 2 to 3 as a sauce.
